This district was the forefront of pasture research for many years, largely through the nearby Kybybolite Research Centre, and an enterprising farming community. This story is told through the equipment they used.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where the museum stands, the Meintangk and Potaruwitj Marditjali and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
